What delivery to Germany actually costs.
Germany is in Zone 4 of the DHL Express export list from the United Arab Emirates. The following values are taken from the published 2026 list price and are starting values, not final prices.
- 0.5 kg — 365.49 AED, equivalent to around 86 €
- 1 kg — 551.33 AED, equivalent to around 130 €
- 1.5 kg — 688.40 AED, equivalent to around 162 €
- 2 kg — 825.47 AED, equivalent to around 195 €
- Transit time — usually 3–7 days from handover to the courier, depending on the destination country; non-binding and not guaranteed
- Volumetric weight — length × width × height in cm ÷ 5000; the higher value is charged

The standard rate of 19 % is levied on imports to Germany. The assessment basis is the value of the goods including freight.
150 € allowance abolished
The duty-free treatment of shipments up to 150 € was abolished on July 1, 2026. For these shipments, a temporary flat-rate charge of 3 € per customs declaration item applies, scheduled until July 1, 2028.

Above 150 €, the standard customs rates apply. Hair is classified under customs tariff numbers 6703 or 6704.20.

The total price for keratin bonds or tape-ins including application ranges between 400 and 1,500 € in German salons. The material cost is only a part of this.

Can I return the hair?
As long as the hygiene seal is unopened, the 14-day right of withdrawal applies to consumers in the EU. Once the seal is opened, this right is voided because hair is considered a hygiene product under Article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU; opened goods and custom-made hairpieces are therefore not accepted for return. The statutory two-year warranty for defects remains unaffected. That is why length, weight, structure, and color are recorded in writing before payment, and supported by additional daylight photos upon request.
